Juan Ciocchini – Director

Juan over 10 years of experience in the medical devices industry managing distributors across Latin America. With a strong entrepreneurial background and a special focus on international sales and marketing.

Most recently he served as Commercial Manager Export for the Blatchford Group (is a world leading rehabilitation provider in prosthetics, orthotics, special seating and wheelchairs). Previously he founded and managed a medical devices Distribution Company specialising in Urology, Gynaecology and Surgery. Prior to that, he was Export Sales Manager for Mediwatch (is a manufacturer and supplier of Urology and Gastrointestinal diagnostic products).

Ana Maria Von Corvin

Ana Maria von Corvin – Senior Consultant and Lead Trainer

Ana María comes to Medicern Export with over 25 years of Prosthetics and Orthotics experience for some of the leading European companies in P&O, as a consultant, Export Business Development Manager and a trainer.

At present and for the past 12 years she has been Consulting and Developing Export Business for Fior & Gentz GmbH as well as for other companies within the P&O industry. Previously, she held various positions for Bauerfeind Prosthetics (former IPOS) as Export and Product Manager.

Ana Maria graduated with a Bachelor degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics from New York University including majors in Biology and Physics during her Bachelor’s studies. She passed the certification exams (CPO) in the USA before moving to Europe where she obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Lower Limb Prosthetics Biomechanics from the University of Strathclyde. Currently she is enrolled in the second year of a Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences. In addition to the professional experience she is a skilled communicator fluent in English, Spanish and German and good understanding of French.
